Deezfit.com Releases Spring Line and the Do's and Don'ts of Spring Workout Fashion

(PRWEB) April 23, 2008 -- With spring in full swing and swimsuit season almost upon us, it's crunch time at the gym. Fitness fashion authority Dee Burton, personal trainer, fitness instructor and founder of deezfit.com, has some tips for all of us who are looking to tighten up those legs and abs by stepping it up at the gym.

"Exercise is all about motivation," Dee points out. "And let's face it. One big way to be motivated to go to the gym is to have fun stuff to wear. Look good now, and you'll feel like working harder - so you'll look even better later." Luckily, this season's fitnesswear collections give you plenty of ways to dress up and work out. Dee talks through the six top trends for spring, and what they can do for the shape you're in.

1.    Happy color: It's no secret - color changes your outlook. Let it give you a lift at the gym and beyond, with feel-good hues like raspberry, violet, lilac, sunny yellow, tangerine, turquoise and ocean blue.

2.    Kicky pattern: Energize your workout routine with patterns that are anything but. Look for crisp geometrics and fabulous flowers, embellishing bottoms as well as tops. "You'd be surprised how flattering a patterned pant can be," says Dee. "Look for designs on the leg of the pant that draw attention away from the hips and down toward the ankle."

3.    High performance fabrics: Now that it's getting warmer, you'll feel better working up a sweat in fabrics that wick moisture away from your skin and keep you feeling cool and dry. "And don't forget," Dee adds, "the higher quality the material, the smoother and sleeker it makes you look."

4.    Sexy tops: Eye candy is totally calorie-free. So indulge in spring's beautifully cut, ultra-supportive tops in luscious ice-cream parlor pastels and sorbet brights. Go ahead, have seconds.

5.    Bottom line options: There's nothing like a cute pant to put sass in your step. Dee's personal favorite? "I'll be wearing lots of this spring's new fitted Bermudas. They're a great change from a longer pant, and even if you're usually shorts-shy, you'll love the trim athletic vibe."

6.    Bold attitude: Beauty is all about confidence and feeling good about yourself. The difference between shuffling into the gym in your dingy old sweats and shaking it in something bright and bold with a sense of style is huge. You'll feel the change in yourself, and see it in the results you get from your workouts. It's not just exercising for swimsuit season. It's training for life.
